What the economic calendar is
Summary
The economic calendar lists the dates and times of official releases: interest rate decisions, inflation, jobs, growth and more. Each entry shows the previous value, the forecast economists expect and, once out, the actual number. Markets often move sharply in the minutes after a big release. Tradexus Data has a calendar in your own time zone.
Key points
- Each release shows previous, forecast and actual values.
